Corsets

Well hello there,

I've been inspired by Malin James' post and Kink of the Week to let you in to the secret world of Tabitha...

I'm corset mad - really.

A 1980s C&A original!
I have a fairly androgynous shape I think - broad shoulders, rectangular body, flat bum - I'm not sure I felt masculine or feminine when I was younger. If you saw me from behind you might wonder if I was male or female. I often felt like a fraud in a skirt and pretty puffed sleeved top - really - these did NOT suit me. So when I was about fourteen I tried on my mother's zip up corset top from C & A - suddenly I got it. I felt feminine. I felt pretty. And I also felt like Snow White when she got tied too tightly into a corset by the peddlar woman... the wicked stepmother! I LOVED that story - I think I read it a hundred times, poring over the beautiful pictures of Snow White swooning in ties, or golden combs or poisoned apples...

Anyway - back to the clothing! I inherited that very corset and here I am in it today...

Corsets are my one indulgence. I don't go to the beauty parlour, or hairdresser, I still think of the shoes I bought three years ago as 'my good new ones'.

I only wear steel boned now. I don't have a custom made one like Malin's but I hope to one day - though the bloomers were hand made especially for me by a friend of mine. There's another kink - next time!

Here are some of my corsets
Green steel boned

Red sweetheart neckline
Buxom!

Black underbust -
this is my favourite corset of all

Little red underbust
This is a squeeze!
Pass the smelling salts :D
Thanks to Malin for her wonderful post which truly describes how I feel about wearing corsets - please go and read it! Click Here

And remember to check out the other corset aficionados over at kink of the Week!

Sunday Snog - The Conjurer

Good morning Sunday!!

Here is a bit of a recycled snog - when I wrote The Conjurer I was thinking a lot about loss of vision and how that would impact on someone's life and also their sense of self. Well, for the past couple of months for an hour every other day I get migraine aura which pretty much means I can't do anything that requires vision... It can be quite disorientating but only temporary, thank goodness - but also, being a writer means that nomatter what you go through in life, there's always a part of you thinking, "Well, this is interesting... I could use this..."

So without further ado...

Here's the prelude to a kiss from my story The Conjurer which is included in the fantastic Smut In The City anthology. I hope you'll think about grabbing a copy - it's a classy wee book.

Now, you know what to do - have a read then hop along to the other blogs who are indulging in a bit of lazy Sunday kissing action over at Ms Blisse's place...

This little snippet is a scene where Carla, who has recently begun to lose her sight, finds herself in an artist's studio...

The Conjurer

How did you know?” I am lying naked on what feels like a velvet lined alter – though he assures me it’s simply a platform for best viewing his subjects. “Was it obvious?”
He pauses, I can see him from a mirror placed serendipitously on the wall so my eyes can give the impression of looking right at him while he paints, but I am able to catch a woozy reflected glimpse from the side.
Perhaps not to everyone,” he says very gently, “but I study things. Everything. I can’t look at even a glass without being fascinated by how the light strikes it – both piercing and reflecting, causing shadows to make it look whole.” He pauses to load up his brush and perhaps, I think, he might be a little embarrassed about what he might say next.
Go on,” I urge.
Well, it’s just that, most people can’t handle my scrutiny. Most people find it... me... creepy.”
My skin bristles and I’m suddenly panicky. What the hell and I doing here, naked, in a strange man’s flat, drunk and almost blind? I feel a little sick. Creepy? I hold my breath and the air grows static between us. He must see the change in my posture. Self preservation screams at me to shatter the suddenly weird atmosphere. He beats me to it.
I mean, I can’t help staring that’s all,” he says, the slight uneven tone in his voice alerting me to the fact that he knows he’s said something to scare me. “I’m still like a child in that way. It gets hard to cultivate good social skills when you’re talking to someone and all you want to do is study the way their skin skates and moves over the bones beneath.” He manages a soft nervous laugh, trying to soothe me. “I’m not really... I mean... I shouldn’t have said the word creepy.” He is terribly flustered now and through the mirror I see he is mixing colours frantically on his palette.
It’s all right,” I say, choosing to stick with my initial impression of this man. I hesitate, desperately wanting to ask him the question that no-one will answer, but not wanting to hear the truth either. I have to know. “So how exactly did you know?” I ask the question in a way that I hope he understands what knowledge I’m seeking and that I don’t want to admit that I want to know. I brace myself, thinking he’s going to give a description of my strange looking eyes.
He puts down his brushes and steps out from behind the easel walking quickly towards me. Before I can work out what’s going on, he lifts my face by my chin and through my blinkered vision I feel him looking right into me.
Because you didn’t look away,” he whispers, leaning in to kiss me...

Thanks so much for stopping by! If you this got you all ready for more - take a look at the other snoggers today x x

I Write Books

Hello everyone *waves frantically*

I sometimes forget to promote the solo books I've written - so today I thought I'd put up these little appetisers from my Clockwork Butterfly trilogy. It's a dystopian fantasy where love, life and death intertwine to make you want to save the world sexy style... :D

Book 1 - The Clockwork Butterfly

Book 2 - Taking Flight

Book 3 - The meeting Point
Here's a really lovely review for the final book but I think it encapsulates the trilogy better than the blurb - and has me beaming from ear to ear!

by Sassyele
"I have to begin by saying that this review has taken me quite some time to write, as I really didn't know how to put into words exactly what I thought and give The Meeting Point enough to do it the justice it deserves. It has sat in my drafts for weeks being altered and tampered with and now, I'm finally ready to post!

This is the much anticipated third book in The Meeting Point Trilogy by Tabitha Rayne. The first of these is A Clockwork Butterfly and the second is Taking Flight.

Tabitha has a very unique writing style which captivates the imagination and gives you a unique closeness to each of the characters, even the ones you may dislike. I was really pleased to see a few of the characters I'd grown close to in the first book making a return in this one, especially as I hadn't realised they played such an important part in the final book. Once again, I was gripped from beginning to end and struggled to put it down.

Deborah Regan has been searching for her lover Marcus since he was carted off to a special 'men only farm' where men are being imprisoned and used for rich women't gratification. The rest of humankind is almost extinct due to the deadly toxins in the air but the survivors are fighters and will do whatever it takes to be reunited ...even at the risk of their own lives. The sheer determination shown by each of the characters is so admirable and the sexual tension makes for some very steamy reading! I don't want to give too much away but the end left me in a state of sheer disbelief. When I read any novel, I always have a few guesses as to how it will all turn out in the end, but Tabitha manages to lead you on an unknown journey with many unexpected twists and turns. The emotion comes through loud and clear from each character and you feel their pain and indeed their joy. I love how easily I can relate to all the characters, even though I may not have agreed with how they handled certain situations, but the slightly cheeky and pushy Mae quickly became one of my absolute favourites!
This really has to be read to be understood.

Tabitha Rayne draws the reader into an unknown fantasy world and allows them to escape reality with emotionally charged and extremely erotic scenes. I have red a few of Tabithas' books now and would very highly recommend any of them."

If you fancy reading any of these books, here's some linky links for you:

Kay Jaybee? Yes Ma'am!

Hey there fellas and fellassies (!)

Today it's my pleasure to have Brit Babe Kay Jaybee with me for the relaunch of Yes Ma'am - tell us all about it Ms Jaybee...

Doing as she says!

In 2012 I wrote a collection of female dom and male submissive stories called Yes Ma'am. To this day, it remains amongst the favourites of all the anthologies I've written, and I am delighted that it has been given a fresh new cover!!
I just love writing short stories, and those with a BDSM theme have always appealed to my writer’s imagination.
Check it out!!
A collection of six arse spankingly, wrist binding, whip wielding tales of female domination, Yes Ma'am contains straight, lesbian and bi-sexual encounters of the S&M nature.
Lying in Wait - Cadet Luke Porter is the least successful army recruit in the squadron. The butt of his comrades jokes, his reputation badly needs improving, and he is desperate to do well in the seek and rescue exercise he’s about to embark upon. Some of his female counterparts however, have other plans, and are determined to find out just how far Luke will go to improve his standing within the regiment...
Black - He is intoxicated by the woman in black. He can't explain why he needs to see her, why he willing does precisely what she tells him to. Why she has such an effect on him, as she sits him in the backroom of a private club and weaves her web of control around him. He is beginning to think he has sold his soul to the devil herself...
Dear Claire - Ali has secretly lusted over her best friend’s lover Rick, for a long time. At least, she thought it was a secret. When her friend Claire asks her to take coffee into Rick as he lies in bed,  it appears that Claire has left Ali a gift wrapped present; her boyfriend, shackled, blindfolded, and ready for Ali to do whatever she likes with. Amazed by Claire’s generosity, Ali doesn’t know where to start, until she sees the neat sentence tattooed on Rick’s arse, ‘If I don’t obey my mistress, I will be punished.’
Don’t You Emma” - In a delicious corruption of Lee’s longed for fantasy, his lover Daisy arranges for them to share another woman. Rather than enjoying a full-on threesome however, Lee finds himself forced to sit and observe his partner perform all the chastisements she normally saves just for him upon a girl called Emma. A girl who, it seems, can withstand the punishments Daisy dishes out with far more self control than Lee has ever managed. Simply sitting in an armchair has never been so difficult...
Not Taking the Tube – Venting his frustration at being delayed yet again by London’s Underground system on the nearest official, the harassed businessman finds his complaints aren’t received in quite the way he’d expected. The petite guard upon whom he directs his anger has just about had enough of the constant string of complaints from the commuters she tries to help. Swiftly turning the tables on her latest assailant, she realises her own pent up anger quickly, sexily, and with the expert use of her surprised companion’s black leather belt...
Rachel’s Twisted Tale - Imprisoned in a bare room, high at the top of an old house, totally naked, her long golden plait wrapped around her body, Rachel waits. She waits for her mistress gaoler to punish her for being perfect. She waits for Tom, her secret lover, to climb in through the window and fuck her senseless. Rachel knows he could free her.  He could help her escape the agonies and humiliations she endures, but she doesn’t want saving. Rachel needs to stay. Rapunzel never suffered like this....

People think that erotica is all about the shagging. Well sometimes, just sometimes, as erotic story writers, we strive to real beauty and depth. This story below is a reflection of this...

Down on the farm
by Tabitha Rayne

I was hanging out the laundry on a beautiful sunny morning. The smell of the cow slurry permeated the air, filling my lungs with the goodness of the countryside. I’d snuck some of my smalls in with the farmer’s washing and who happened to walk by as I pegged up my cotton panties?
Farmer Giles and I hadn’t talked much, barely making eye contact as I served his shepherd’s pie in the evenings and then bade him goodnight. Today though, he walked right up to the line and held the scant fabric to his face breathing in the clean scent of my knickers.
“Mmmm, very nice,” he said in his gruff voice. “Though I’d prefer it less fresh. I dream every night of grazing from your pasture, nuzzling my nose into your open fragrant buttercup.”
I admit my buttercup unfurled as if the midday sun was shining directly on it at his sauciness. I squeezed my thighs together lest he smelled my blossoming flower.
He inhaled again, his gaze skimming over chest and my rising wheaty globes quivered like freshly kneaded dough. Oh how I craved his big rough fingers free them from my gingham blouse.
“Do my words shock you?” he asked pulling his shoulders back and thrusting out his chest to show me his manliness. The bulge in his britches was impressive.
“Yes,” I said, but a bit of the devil sprang into me, “I didn’t realise your grain tower would be so big.”
It was his turn to blush and he threw the washing basket from my arms and pulled me to him.
“Yes, yes my grain tower is big, but also very full of seed.” Then he kissed me, letting me feel the throb press into my tuffet.
I squealed as he led me round to the barn. The dappled sun heated the hay where he flung me and my skirts flew up to reveal my wanton knickerless state.
“Oh yes,” he hissed under his breath and fell to his knees before me. “Time to separate your wheat from your chaff young lady.” He eased his fingers into my furrow making me dribble my creamy curds and whey over his knuckles.
“That’s it my naughty little wench,” he said, “You’re as wet as the sheep dip on hot June day. Look what you do to a man.”
He unbridled himself and let his throbbing tractor piston fall into my view. I gasped, having never seen such a size. And then, before my very eyes, he began to milk his man udder slowly in his large fist. It fairly made me rosy to see and I reached down and clutched at my peaking bosom marbles, rolling and squeezing them, watching him pump harder.
“It’s time I was herded into your pen young shepherdess,” he said, and flipped me over into the bales.
My feed trough was as moist as silage fermenting in the sun and I squeezed my chops together, bracing myself for the thorough ploughing I was surely to receive…

If you're not panting and barely able to keep your hands off yourself after that, I am hanging up my pen!!!

This entry is part of the #EUPHOFF from The Chintz Curtain - you HAVE to read the other entries, they are simply genius!!! Thank for inspiring me :D

Erotic World Book Day! #EWBD

Hooray! At last!

No more furtive glances at worn copies of your mother's 'Men in Love' or 'Women on Top' !

It's Erotic World Book Day - a day to celebrate and be part of a new tradition. I have always, since I could read, sought the thrill of human sensual interaction in my books. From Jack and Jill innocently trundling up the hill together to the blossoming sexuality of Judy Blume - I loved it. I love books that explored the full spectrum of being a human.

I remember the first time I read some of the essays in 'Men in Love' by Nancy Friday - it was like everything suddenly made sense - the dots joined up. Literature and sex could and did go hand in hand.

So here we are today celebrating with hundreds, hopefully thousands of other erotic book readers and authors. The party is huge! Emily Dubberly the founder of Cliterati has pulled together erotic authors to raise awareness of erotic literature and raise money for Brook  - a sexual health education charity. Some of you may be familiar with a C-card? Yes? :D A golden credit card you could use to get free condoms! (I did use the service a long time ago so this may have changed - but it was invaluable to me at that time)

Launching tonight at
the party! All profits to
Brook
Please text BKYP14 £5 to 70070 to support this good cause OR buy our book! We've made an anthology of writing called An Intimate Education - it will be launched at our big party on Facebook tonight from 7pm GMT. Do come a long - there's over £1,500.00 worth of very sexy prizes from fabulous sponsors - read the full list on Cara Sutra's site HERE - I'm giving away my Clockwork Butterfly trilogy too. I'll have my best dress on and hopefuly there will be a virtual margarita or three!

So I hope you are on Facebook and can make it along to join the fun, celebrate our book launch and win some sexy stuff!

But what about some saucy words to get you in the mood on this inaugural Erotic World Book Day?

Here's a little snippet froma story in Sexy Just Walked into Town  - Francesca's Mother which is about discovering the joy of erotic books...

I couldn’t help but stare.

She was perfection in her black bikini, standing in front of me in line for the waterslide. From her heels to her calves, all the way up the back of her thighs to the dip and crease of her buttocks, her legs were flawless. Olive, hair free skin had me mesmerized. I was now glad of the long queue which previously had me shivering. With all the self assurance of a foreign exchange student, she gracefully lifted her ponytail and tied it in a knot. I swallowed hard as I caught a glimpse of thick dark hair curling under her arms. My heart leapt and I was instantly thrown back to my youth.

Francesca’s mother was my guilty pleasure. I would stay for long weekends at their house and spend the whole time preoccupied by the huge maternal presence that commanded the family home with gentle force. I would find any excuse to go into the kitchen and watch her knead dough on the antique pine table, her braless breasts swinging and gently slapping together beneath a purple smock dress. She was so mighty and strong and, though I couldn’t name it at the time, sensual. When she moved near me I’d inhale her scent. Underneath the rosemary and garlic, there was something else; something musky and dangerous. It at once attracted and repelled me, but I always filled my lungs with the delicious warmth, seeking that hidden perfume.

“Look at this,” Francesca pulled me into her mother’s bedroom one trip home from college. We sprawled on the bed reading Anais Nin and Nancy Friday books until we could gasp and giggle no more. I read the words, becoming more and more physically turned on. I’d had a few ferociously passionate encounters at college and was no stranger to sex, but I sensed these books were exploring something else too. Something more than the physical. They made me want to be with the mighty woman downstairs.

“I’m just going for a drink,” I told Francesca and rolled off the bed, taking care not to show the damp spot forming in my jeans.

When I got to the kitchen, Francesca’s mother was standing over a huge pot of broth on the stove. Thick meaty smells filled the room, and as she lifted her elbow to stir the great vat, a tuft of glossy black curls sprang into view. I was slightly repulsed but my mouth started watering and warmth and moisture spread between my legs. I sat on a stool and pressed my hands onto my mound, rocking my pelvis into my fists while Francesca’s mother stirred the soup. I came in my jeans just as she tapped the drips off the ladle on the side of the pot.
The atmosphere was charged and I was sure I caught her eyes flit across my tiny hard nipples while she swept away wild peppery hair from her brow with her forearm. I lifted my ribcage and stared at her, daring her to look again, but she didn’t. She turned back to the range and opened the oven door. Steam and the odor of fresh baked bread broke the spell and I hopped off the stool and sped back up to Francesca, at once invigorated and ashamed...

Aura

The Sinful Sunday prompt is the senses.

I have been having migraine aura this week so I've chosen vision. My world has slipped into the surreal and been quite disorientating - it all feels and looks a bit like this image.

I've been a little quiet this week and that's why...
